Community led ANti-psychotic Drug REduction for Adults with Learning Disabilities (ANDREA-LD): A Randomised Double-blind Placebo Controlled Trial

The ANDREA-LD Trial is open to people over 18 years of age.


If you are, or if someone you know is:

  •     over eighteen,
  •  diagnosed with a learning disability, and
  •  taking either Haloperidol or Risperidone to help with behaviour,

The South East Wales Trials Unit (part of Cardiff University) is running the ANDREA-LD Trial.  This is an important new study which aims to find out whether the amount of medication you are taking can safely be reduced without you feeling worse.
